Recently, we had brunch at a vegetarian shop in Medan Ipoh Bistari ~ Fu Tien vegetarian.  I find that the menu is slightly different from the norm as they have sushi, bento and other a-la-carte dishes that sound interesting.  I ordered some sushi as I've never tasted vegetarian ones before.

Braised Gluten Puffs

I cooked this vegetarian dish yesterday as our household observed a vegetarian diet on Wesak Day .  The deepfried gluten puffs is one of my favourites whenever we have vegetarian food.  On its own, they're quite bland but once  cooked with some sauce, they are very tasty as they're very absorbent.

Vegetarian Soup

Vegetarian Soup ..... as the name implies, this is a very nutritious, healthy fat-free soup and yes it's meatless. Therefore, it's very suitable for people who are on a vegetarian diet be it due to religious, health reasons or otherwise.  On top of that this veggie soup needs very little effort and it's easy to whip up!

Gui Lin vegetarian restaurant. We ordered 4 dishes for the three of us and let me introduce them to you, one by one ......
